Ukulhas Nurse Shark Point

Nurse Shark Point, located on the reef near Ukulhas in North Ari Atoll, is a premier dive site in the Maldives renowned for its frequent encounters with nurse sharks and turtles throughout the year. Starting the dive fro shark jetty at 4 meters, the reef slope goes to 35 meters. Up to 20 nurseharks live there, sleeping in the caves or resting on the sandy bottom or gracefully cruising the reef. The curious lemon shark is also a regular visitor from June to January, coming by for the sailfish waste. The site also boasts a healthy population of turtles, sting rays, and other sharks and occasional glassfish adding to its allure. The reef's topography and diverse marine life make it an underwater paradise for both novice and experienced divers. Being such an easy dive, Nurse Shark Point is a must-visit destination for any diving enthusiast exploring the Maldives.
